What music has made the biggest difference in your life?

Posted on Feb 5th, 2009 by Kris
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for February 04, 2009:

it's not a whole genre- it's just one song "Hallelujah" (by kate voegele and other artists sing it, too).  i love this song because the lyrics are so powerful with simple acoustics in the background, because that's all it needs.
my favorite line is, "And love is not a victory march/ it's a cold and it's a broken hallelujah".......... and not that i know all there is to know about love, or even a small fragment of what there is to know, i really do think that love, true, pure love for somebody is shown when you can be completely comfortable in being weak and vulnerable, because something bad happened, or something sad did, or something else-- but love is knowing that you can show your true heart and compassion without fear of, you know, like them using it against you.. so love isn't a victory march, where your in this state of complete and utter fascination and feel that you've won, i think it's more like this, well like us, saying we're broken and we need each other.  love is saying your broken and you need that other person, and i think that that line from that song sums it up really well.
